Can 7 days really make a difference in your marriage? We are placing bets that it can. Decide that for one week your spouse is going to be your number one priority and see what happens. Celebrate as you rediscover the communication in your marriage. Why? Because you have to be working through the annoyances if you are going to choose intimacy. Anticipate the connection with your spouse as you both choose to be present with one another. It’s going to be amazing.

I just want to thank you both so much for your honesty throughout this podcast. My husband and I have had similar discussions to the one at the beginning of your podcast, and I can relate to you Alisa in feeling “disconnected” at times.
Thankfully I married a really amazing man who is always quick to ask, “what's wrong?” And thankfully I serve a God who I can go to when in these moments, knowing He will answer my prayers.
It must be difficult to do a podcast when you've just had this discussion, but I commend you both for your graciousness and humility. There are not many couples who are willing to be that transparent. Thank you so much! You've been a blessing to me today
Esther,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. So many marriages experience that sense of disconnect and the true test comes in how you handle the situation. Your husband sounds quite sensitive to you, which is truly a blessing! Also knowing that your prayers will be answered is a truth that I cling to when life doesn't seem to be going the way that I would like.
You're right when you say that it must be difficult to podcast after these types of conversations but Tony and I have said, from the beginning, that we would be transparent with each other and with those that we are talking to. It's a way for us to be accountable and responsible for what we are doing.
So glad to have you as part of our community.
Alisa
